Setting goals is a healthy part of translating your dreams into reality. But in today's world, there are so many "shoulds," deadlines, and other expectations weighing down on us. The resulting stress and anxiety can get in the way of our ability to succeed authentically and grow. So how do we minimize stress and anxiety? Simple: we make space for the unknown. This doesn't mean that you should enter a situation without preparation or planning; it simply means that you shouldn't feel pressured to know every last detail before you begin. This approach frees you from the pressure to meet weighty expectations—giving you the space to be yourself, try new things, and ultimately discover more about yourself in the process. Over the years, I’ve evolved my own approach and learned from wise leaders but mostly from trial and error.
Here are 3 strategies on how to approach goals to serve you rather than weigh you down.
Sifting and sorting through goals to prioritise them can feel exhausting. But it is important and always worth the effort - it’s what I call a Radical Declutter in The Success Trap book. Then we have the space to embrace goals as a source of inspiration to live from rather than a destination to struggle towards. We find that we are better equipped for the journey and its twists. Be brave, go forth, and live into the unknown. No matter how hard you try, you can't be good at everything or work on every project. That’s an exhausting fantasy goal. There will always be things and experiences that we miss out on. But by giving 100% to what’s most important, we can mitigate regret. FOMO (the Fear of Missing Out) gives way to JOHS (the Joy of Having Space).

The unknown is not a negative thing. It’s the portal to your next level of success. If you like the video please, share it with anyone it might help, and feel free to comment.
